Ground_Truth™ is a company asking itself the hard questions in public, with guests who have no reason to be gentle. Each episode takes one problem in measurement, identity or evidence, and puts it to someone who has lived it - a researcher, a practitioner, an engineer, someone who has been on the receiving end. We do not edit out the parts where we come off worse.

Five conversations, each one question put to someone who can answer it. Numbering, dates and durations are still being set, and no card is built before its guest has confirmed in writing.

The subject is the field, not what we sell. We are in the room to answer for our part in it.
Cross-examination, not promotion.
Ground_Truth™ is our standard: a measurement should be able to say who it came from, what took it, and when. A standard asserted by the company that wrote it is worth very little. So we test it out loud, with people qualified to find the holes.
The show is not about us. Episodes are about the questions that came before us and will outlast us: how movement gets measured, what a record is worth when nobody can say whose it is, what happens to a person's own account of their week when nothing writes it down. We are in the room to answer for our part in that, not to describe a product.
Get real reactions. Nothing is rehearsed.
The format is the argument. A conversation a company can steer is a conversation worth nothing, so these three things are fixed before a guest agrees to sit down.
Guests choose their ground.
They know the subject in advance and nothing else. No questions cleared beforehand, no answers rehearsed.
Nothing awkward is cut.
Edits are for length and clarity. If a guest lands a point on us, it stays in.

An hour of expert speech is no use to anyone who cannot search it. So every episode page carries the conversation in text as well as in audio, and the text is the page rather than an attachment to it.
